A LITTLE ABOUT ME and AWB

Hello Beautiful Brides-to-Be,

I'd like to introduce myself.  I'm Lindsay and I have now owned Anne Whittaker Bridal for 11 years.  Time which has actually flown ridiculously fast.  It's because I'm doing something that I absolutely love. 

 

Anne Whittaker Bridal is well known in Accrington and has been in the town for over 60 years.  When I took over the shop it was a big decision on whether to keep the name or not, but I'm glad I did.  The amount of my bride's mothers and even grandmothers that bought their dress from Anne Whittaker herself, is incredible.  It's so lovely to hear their stories and I am proud to carry on her legacy.

Finding the wedding dress of your dreams should be exciting, inspirational and stress free, so I strive to ensure that this is exactly how you feel when you enter our bridal shop in Accrington. However, over the years I have realised just how daunting this can be for brides, especially if this is the first shop you have chosen to visit.  ​

Wearing  a wedding dress is a totally different experience from normal clothes shopping.  The main question many brides has running through her mind is "what if nothing fits me?".  Please don't worry.  Our range has been chosen to ensure that everone that walks through the door will have plenty of gorgeous dresses to try on and feel fabulous in.  Seeing a brides face light up when they feel absolutely amazing is what I live for.  Seeing that reaction is a constant reminder of why I love my job so much.

 

​Our collection of wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses have been carefully chosen from our designers vast array to flatter every shape, size, age, budget or even venue.  So please don't feel nervous about coming to see us.  I promise that you will enjoy your experience.

 

My commitment is a high quality service, perfection and professionalism in a laid back, fun environment, and I believe that's what I've achieved.  I want to look after you throughout your journey, from buying your wedding dress until the day you wear it.  Including dress storage, wedding dress alterations, wedding dress and bridesmaid dress preparations, accessory appointments and general advice and assistance.  The list goes on..
